Improving the content does not only mean adding text, more recent data, but above all correlating the respective text with the ways in which visitors reach the page. For this, the data from Google Analytics must be correlated with what we obtain using the second of the categories of Google services: Search Console.
Potential traffic
In fact, this title is a bit unfair, because in Google Search Console (formerly Webmaster tools) we can actually analyze the ways of bringing traffic from Google searches, as well as the potential traffic we could attract.
In the shortest possible summary, Google Search Console shows us the relationship Djibouti Email List between the searches given by people on Google, and our pages have been offered as results. This relationship is completed with the number of clicks (from which the Click Rate - CTR is also derived), and with the average position in searches. All for periods that can be selected, and with the possibility of segmenting the data according to countries and devices (desktop – mobile – tablet).
Of course, the functions made available by Search Console are many more, but for someone who wants to increase the traffic on his own website, these are the most important in the first phase.
Simple workflow analysis Search Console
We put here a series of small examples to see how we can use these free Google services, very useful up to a point.
We visualize the searches (Queries) over a certain period. If we sort by volume, we can easily see searches with high volume, good click rate and good position. Those are real sources of traffic, and they must be supported.
