It helps improve a company's credibility, intercept new audiences and stand out from the competition, especially today: an era in which more and more people are becoming aware of environmental problems. Green marketing: what it is As already mentioned above, Green marketing is that branch of marketing that deals with promoting sustainable products and services for the environment. But that's not all: it is a real vision , shared between brands and customers,in which the main objective is to promote concrete actions to improve the environmental issue.

Green marketing involves a series of very different actions . These can include the creation of sustainable products , the use of ecological packaging and the adoption of business practices that respect the environment, up to the communication that has all the green advantages of a given product or service. According to research by Nielsen and Novamont,people today expect companies to truly commit to environmental sustainability.

In particular: 88% of the interviewees stated that reducing pollution is one of the most important challenges to be accepted in the world today; 75% would pay more for an eco-sustainable product ; consumers choose brands based on how green they are . Other research also shows that brands that engage in concrete actions to protect our planet are better perceived by consumers,with a far positive sentiment compared to those who do nothing. We can therefore say that doing Green marketing is a serious matter and that it requires a long-term commitment by companies, promoting a sustainable revolution to retain those who are already sensitive to the topic and conquering all those who, yet, do not they understood the importance. Attention: Green marketing is NOT Greenwashing More and more often we talk about the concept of Greenwashing, which is very different from Green marketing.
